Celebrate the Summer Solstice immerse yourself in nature, energise and relax with Meriel and Rhys. They invite you to share their complementary passions - yoga, running and the west wales coastal trails and paths whilst staying at beautiful Felinagnol.
They invite you to balance strengthening and enlivening in this stunning landscape with resting, actively releasing tension and regulating your nervous system through nature connection, meditation, breathing and gentle movement practices.
Meriel complements her somatic yoga practice by working with Rhys to build strength and endurance through running and weights. Rhys Harris is a personal trainer who spends a lot of time outside running. West Wales is perfect for running and hiking especially on the coastal path on our doorstep. Running can give us an opportunity to exercise freely following the flow of the body and bring mental peace.
Rhys would love to share some of the amazing routes and scenery nearby with you and will also offer a strength class for runners to demonstrate and for you to practice some exercises that can be done from home, too.
Meriel is a Yoga teacher interested in movement for healing and resilience. She invites you to practices to restore and harness your energy. Retreat for her is a chance to take a break from our habits, routines and patterns and explore new ways of being, to connect with your body and reflect on wellbeing and personal nourishment.

I'm from Aberteifi / Cardigan. I have been running since 2008. Starting as a weight loss project it soon became my escape. What I enjoy the most is the simplicity, freedom and peace of mind it offers. It can be done anywhere but the coastal path offers something special. Mesmerising views, peacefulness and paths that will challenge you but fixate you in that moment giving you something the soul relishes.
My running experience went from exercise to competitiveness to the mellow escape in the great outdoors. Running has taken me all over the world. I've competed for the UK in Australia, run over fifty marathons and has allowed me a platform to do other things such as Ironman triathlon, longer running distances and long hiking weekends.
I am looking forward to showing you what we have on offer here to run, hike or just look at. The running will be free of any rules that the road or clock will give you. You will run to feel, enjoy the views, and then regroup with the gang before the journey back.
