This is an invitation to rest, connect, energise, be still and grow mushrooms.
This retreat brings together quietly inspirational people living sustainably in west Wales to share a mutual love of living in harmony with nature and being present with the land. We gather to share practices that, in different ways, quieten our over-stimulated senses and promote inner peace.
To begin we simply sit. Then we may move via somatic yoga and breathing with Meriel to invite ourselves a chance to explore embodied attunement.
We then learn to cultivate our own mushrooms over 2 workshops guided by earth-sovereignty pioneers Hyphea shroomery. You will make your own hand-made Oyster and Shitake mushroom creations to harvest from at home.
Our embodied energy, how it connects in and to all around us, is akin to organic mycelium networks through the earth. Mycelium becomes our guide to refining our attention and finding a peaceful sense of ourselves inside. Japanese meals from locally cultivated and foraged seaweeds and mushrooms reflect the medicinal and connective life-force within we attend to on this retreat.
